Since 2025, a collaboration has begun with ERSA (Regional Agency for Rural Development of Friuli Venezia Giulia) to test the AgriCS platform—a regional decision support system designed for farmers in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Among its capabilities, the platform enables assessments of carbon and water footprints, as well as energy balances at the farm level. Data from 12 arable farms participating in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Living Labs have been analyzed to measure the ecological footprint of each farm, forming the basis for simulations of the impact of innovative agricultural practices.

Objectives

The specific objective of this activity is to test the performance of a model used within a decision support platform aimed at agricultural enterprises in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, to carry out environmental analyses of the participating farms.
